The user interface is divided into 5 distinct, easy-to-navigate areas:
The Top bar is where the Main menu is located, the Home button to access the sidebar's Home tab, the connect button, the notifications button, the transfers information area, the preferences button, the help button and the window buttons where you can maximize, minimize or close a window.
The Sidebar is a collapsible area on the left-hand side that allows access to the following: Contacts, personalMessages, theList Manager and the Home (Window manager). All of these tabs are float-able and pin-able.
The Content Area is the currently selected chat, list, log, message, etc. Please note that when the sidebar is folded, the content area takes most of the available window space.
Tabs, located at the top of each window, are the easiest way to move among open windows. They can be positioned at the bottom or top of the content area. They can also be moved around and resized to accommodate more open windows . When new content is posted in chat windows or when you receive a new message the relevant tab will be highlighted using certain color codes
The Status bar gives information about the status of your network connection, your current online mode (away, busy, invisible) and the P2P connectivity status (if incoming connections are available or not).
