Preferences
Filetopia is highly configurable, the most important options are grouped together for easy access, while the rest, more advanced features, are divided into several categories.
Besides, you have several screens that allow you to configure:
- Your contact's default properties
- Your color customizations for the chat and messages
- All system sounds used in the program and when you allow them
- Custom messages that you can use in the chat
- File categories used to filter files in lists and searches.
- The user's profile that you show to others.
You can get to the preferences window in several ways:
- Pressing the preferences icon in the top bar
- In the Main menu, select Tools->Preferences
- Press F12
- For a specific option screen, click the links in Home sidebar, Chat menu, etc
- Clicking the various links that point to it along this help and elsewhere
You can select which options screen you want using the selection list on the left:
Choosing "Save" will save your changes and apply them immediately.
By clicking "Close" you will dismiss your preferences window.
