Lists are essential to file sharing in Filetopia.  You can create as many file lists as you want and use each of them in different places to share precisely what you want with each user, group or community.


No matter how many lists you have, you must have a default list.  This files list will be sent every time someone requests your list IF there is not one specifically assigned to that user, group or room.  In the case of a list being assigned to a  specific user, they can request it from the contact's menu sidebar. 



To manage the lists easily, used the Lists sidebar:



This sidebar has 2 tabs:

  • Mine:  where you will have access to all the lists you create
  • Received: where you can manage all the lists that you downloaded from other users


The filter control allows you to apply different types of criteria to select your lists.

From this sidebar you can create, edit or delete lists, refresh a list's contents and make a list your default list. You can also rename the list using the right click (context) menu or the actions button on top.




The buttons on the top of this sidebar have the following functions:

  • Edit Lists:  This button will allow you to modify the selected list.
  • Add List: You will be able to create a new list from here.
  • Delete List: It will delete the currently selected lists
  • Meta List: It will allow you to create a meta-list with the selected lists
