Filetopia has a channel rating system based on the room's content type and moderation guidelines


Featured rooms:   Featured chat rooms have quality content and are well moderated by knowledgeable, kind administrators.  These rooms are safe for children.  When entering such a room, your list will be scanned for questionable material and you will be asked to leave if such material is present.


Safe Rooms:   Safe chat rooms make an effort to filter out unsuitable material and adult language.  Just like featured rooms, your list will be scanned when entering these rooms for questionable material. All operators in these rooms follow the Safe room guidelines.


Adult Rooms:  These rooms may use language or contain material not suitable for children.  


There are many other rooms that have not been rated and in most cases, these rooms are safe to enter. However their operators might not be as strict in keeping content and language clean, like in featured and safe rooms.
