Over time, you will accumulate thousands of messages.   All that information can use a lot of memory and make the messages sidebar operation slower.


To compensate for that and keep the latest conversations more agile, Filetopia uses an archiving system.


You can archive any message that you don't need to keep around to reference.  To find the message later, simply search for it and select  "Archive" in the context menu (right click) over the message.


If you want to browse all archived messages, select "Show archived messages" in the Actions menu of the sidebar.  Note that archived messages appear in a dimmer font than non-archived messages. Unchecking the same menu option, will return you to the recent messages.


It is also worth noting that when the number of messages reaches its maximum, the system will automatically archive the oldest messages and conversations.
